The Rhododendron Staff, 1913

The first yearbook of the College, first published in 1913, was called the Rhododendron after the state flower of West Virginia. Miss Sadie Bryon was the sponsor. The next attempt to publish a yearbook was in 1915, when the Concord Echoes was published. The first Pine Tree was published in 1924. Since that year, the yearbooks have been a valuable source of information about past students and a pictorial reminder of the events of the years.
