Course Reserves-Materials that instructors place on reserve are available at the front desk on the main floor of the library during normal operating hours. Search by professor or course placed on reserve.
Current Faculty/Staff : The Library will obtain materials (books, journal reprints, government documents) which are needed as part of your ongoing assignment at the University. For personal items, or items for your families, see below, OTHERS
Current Students (CU/BSC) : You should consult with a member of the professional staff if you feel the library collection does not meet the needs of your coursework. BOOKS we request for you after consultation will come at no charge. If we obtain copies of periodical articles they will be supplied at cost. Most items requested from BSC are delivered next day, not including weekends.
OTHERS (members of the public) : Concord will obtain, upon request, items available at BSC. Copies of periodical articles we obtain from BSC will be charged 10 cents per page. If you need materials from other libraries, ask your local public library to assist you.
Copy machines are located on the main floor of the library. Currently we have 2 general purpose copiers available for use.
Check Your Account- See what library materials you have out. Current faculty/staff/students are given semester long due dates so holds and renewals are not permitted. This means any materials you checkout must be physically brought back to the library to be rechecked out past the end of the current semester.
Microfilm and Microfiche Readers are available for use on the main floor of the library.
Wireless access is available within the library. Nearly all of the main floor is covered with minor “nooks and crannies” being dead zones.
